How a team of four strong women at Kulzer brought the company's Core Values “Challenge, Diversity, ONE Team” to the next level in a private team challenge. Read the report from our Head of Global Scientific & Clinical Affairs Dr. Janine Schweppe.
Kulzer’s “Bond Girls” passed the real universality challenge
iBOND Universal/GLUMA Bond Universal as universal adhesive is the allrounder for reliable bond strength. And this is not only the case for the product itself. The team responsible for the management and development of the field of dental adhesives, adhesives resin cements and temporary materials is also truly universal.
To find out, if we are as universal as our product iBOND Universal/GLUMA Bond Universal, we – Antje Casimir, Anja Goetz, Maria Lechmann-Dorn and me – decided to undergo a real challenge. As “The Kulzer Bond Girls” we participated this year’s Strong Viking Run in Wächtersbach, Germany. Seven kilometres of mud, water and a variety of different obstacles had to be mastered.
Dressed as bonding bottles, we had to show our universal abilities in different challenges as log carrying (see picture), throwing Viking hammers, Viking fights and mud crawling. We also had to bond instantly to different substrates as iBOND Universal/GLUMA Bond Universal to overcome obstacles. And in the end we had to face a swimming challenge which revealed our unique moisture control as it is also the case for iBOND Universal/GLUMA Bond Universal.
After finishing this challenge successfully, it can be concluded, that we are as universal as our main product.
