Pointed objects such as forceps or levers can quickly damage the cuspidor at the dentist's chair. Replacement is often not only expensive, but also time-consuming. There is another way - thanks to the the Kerasys Ceramic Repair Kit from Kulzer Technik, the damaged area can be repaired easily and quickly by yourself. How does it work? The dentist Dr Stephanie Frisch has tried it out and shows how a ceramic basin can be repaired in the practice in no time at all.

But with the Kerasys Ceramic Repair Kit from Kulzer Technik, a defect is quickly repaired.

Kerasys Ceramic Repair Kit

The Kerasys Ceramic Repair Kit contains everything you need for the repair: the two most common whites for ceramics with selection card, a primer for secure adhesion, filling compound for deeper defects as well as curing lamp and other accessories for processing.

Kerasys

Lay out the accessories ready to hand on a clean surface.

Kerasys

First clean the damaged area with the alcohol cloth and remove the dust.

Kerasys

Apply the primer so that the repair paste adheres securely afterwards.

Kerasys

Use the colour selection card to choose the right shade of white for the ceramic.

Kerasys

Prepare the repair paste and attach the cannula.

Kerasys

Carefully apply the paste to the hole and put in enough material to create a small bulge.

Kerasys

Place the foil strip on the drop.

Kerasys

... Place the blue light LED lamp over it (if necessary, hold it a little) and let the material cure for at least 5 minutes. Then remove the lamp and the foil.

Now sand the area that is still slightly raised. First use the coarser sandpaper with a grit of 1200: Put a drop of water on the spot and sand.

Kerasys

Repeat the step with the finer sandpaper until no bulge can be felt when you run your finger over it.

Kerasys

After sanding, clean the surface again with the cloth and then apply a drop of the polish, which is then worked in with the cloth in circular movements.

Done!
