85 years ago, a material changed the dental world: the dental manufacturer Kulzer developed Paladon, the first heat-polymerizing denture base resin. From then on, ill-fitting rubber dentures were a thing of the past. But Paladon is by no means old hat; it is an integral part of Kulzer's denture resin portfolio, which has grown over the past decades.
85 years ago, dental technician Gottfried Roth recognized that the acrylic resin polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) was suitable for the production of dentures due to its consistency. The patenting by the Kulzer company marked the beginning of the success story of Paladon®, the world's first heat-polymerizing denture resin, which replaced the rubber dentures commonly used until then.
Its continuously developed mechanical product properties, which characterize today's Paladon® 65, enable user-friendly, variable processing and efficient production of high-quality prostheses.
Today, Paladon 65 belongs to the Pala® family, the most traditional brand of the Hanau-based dental manufacturer. Pala stands for esthetic, efficient and durable prosthetic solutions worldwide. With its wide range of high-quality denture resins and teeth as well as accessories, Pala® from Kulzer is today the all-round system for effective prosthetics. Pala denture resins offer the optimal solution for every application, whether heat-curing or cold-curing. Kulzer has developed unique prosthetic materials worldwide that can be processed particularly easily, quickly and economically.
Pala is the brand for high-quality artificial teeth, denture acrylics and first-class accessories.
